I would really appreciate a simple way to invite someone to share their iPhone/iPad screen to my OBS Studio session over the Internet (not LAN).

Currently the iOS OBS.Ninja app only supports sharing the iOS camera device and not the screen, which does not allow streaming a mobile game over the Internet, for example.

I've found Larix Screencaster to be functional but much too difficult to instruct an average person to configure, and all other apps I've found only support LAN scenarios. I feel like there's a real opportunity for OBS Ninja to make it simple to share a mobile screen to OBS over the Internet.

I would literally pay for this feature if you can get it working.

GetDisplayMedia is not supported on iOS for now, the only way to achieve it is via a hybrid app like Cordova, example cordova-rtc/cordova-plugin-iosrtc#424

While I do have screen share added to an iOS native app version of VDO.Ninja (a flutter-based app), it only works within the VDO.Ninja iOS app itself -- when you switch to another app, the screenshare output goes black. This seems to be a security restriction on iOS and it will take more effort to fix.

As a result, I have screen share added to Android, but I disabled the screen share on the iOS version until I can implement replaykit2 or whatever is needed to get it working. In fact, I've taken down the release of the iOS app since it currently offers no benefit over the safari web app.

I will put the app back up with screen sharing hopefully soon. If there is high demand for this feature, I'll try to prioritize it.

Any update regarding this feature on iOS please?
(So bad we can't share screen without application in front)
