can't find the setting to give me a list of all my scenes down the left side?

using story architect 0.7.5
os linux mint Linux 5.15.0-130-generic #140-Ubuntu SMP Wed Dec 18 17:59:53 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

using screenplay text mode. I "used" to have a left hand panel that showed all the scenes but it's disappeared?
How do I restore this please?

thank you for taking the time. I went through it and it does make sense. I prefer to watch youtube videos and I would suggest a minimal editing session with common problems that have arisen from support requests. In my case the next challenge is tracking versions effectively. I'll take another go at it. thanks again.
