Just passing by to share some love! Personally, I think if Maple Mono Normal NL NF CN ExtraLight could support more character sets, it would genuinely be the perfect unified standard font for Chinese systems. One font that works seamlessly across all devices and scenarios—even scaled down to 11px, it remains highly legible. It’s honestly so much better than Source Han. My laptop is now fully switched to this font! Thanks for all your hard work!

Additionally, I'm curious if the spacing between the Chinese and English character can be increased a little bit more when typing, it would be so perfect!

That is a long existing issue across all monospace fonts with CN glyphs embed. You can see details in #211.

On a separate note, as a huge fan of this font, I have to say I got used to its Chinese character width within just a few hours of using it. Personally, I find the reading experience at 12px–14px to be way better than with other Chinese fonts!

In fact, that is the limitation of monospace font that need to keep 2:1 in text that mixed with English and Chinese glyphs, because in general, this feature should be the handled by font kerning, which will lead to vertical misalignment between lines.
