It seems to be common sense in the 3D print community that for best dimensional accuracy the external perimeter should be printed first.
This makes sense, because there is no extruded plastic in the way and so nothing disturbs the accurate path for the molten filament.
The drawback of this print order is the ugly seam, caused by the startpoint blob of unretracted filament.
So why does the unretract not taking place at the position of the (not yet printed) next perimeter, doing a small wipe move to the external and than doing a clean external perimeter.
Then the best of both worlds, accurate an pretty, could be achieved. :]
