Horizontal scaling

I'm exploring microsandbox for a use case and wondering if microsandbox can be horizontal scaled for production use?

It can but that work is currently left up to the user of the library. If we are looking at Kubernetes as the main orchestrator, I have considered some options.

Many have suggested making msb a proper OCI runtime but I don't think OCI runtime reqs map cleanly to microvms. Instead what you get is a vm that starts containers or vice versa. And there's already a libkrun backend for crun: https://github.com/containers/crun/blob/411e56c5cb96ba8f805adc160bcb5de6a6454de1/krun.1.md.
My goal with msb is much different and more opinionated than a low-level flexible vmm.

That leaves me with two other options. Creating a CRI server or an Operator for microsandbox.
I must admit that I'm new to Kubernetes and if there are better ideas, I welcome them.
