While Swift.org currently includes links to authorized translations of TSPL (The Swift Programming Language), there isn't a standardized way to showcase full website translations. Our team has completed a Simplified Chinese translation of the entire Swift.org website, and we'd like to propose including it as an official reference.
Describe the solution you'd like
We would like to propose adding our Simplified Chinese translation of Swift.org as an official reference. The translation is:
Hosted at swift.swiftgg.team
Source code available at: github.com/SwiftGGTeam/swift-org-website
Maintained by SwiftGG Team (the same team behind the official TSPL Chinese translation)
Fully synchronized with the original Swift.org content
Implemented with the same design and functionality as the original site
We're open to suggestions on how to best integrate this translation, whether through:
A dedicated translations section
An enhanced language switcher
Any other approach the Swift.org team recommends
Describe alternatives you've considered
Continuing independent hosting only, but this limits discoverability
Adding a simple link in the site footer
Creating a dedicated translations page
Additional context
Our team has already demonstrated our commitment to quality through our work on the official TSPL Chinese translation. This website translation follows the same high standards and would help make Swift more accessible to Chinese developers.
Thanks and happy MLK day!
