[Feature]: Alexa thermostat On/Off

Hallo, it is possible to add On/Off for thermostat in Alexa?
My Better thermostat have Heat and Off but Alexa says the thermostat can't do this.
On/Off function are enabled in Alexa over Amazon Developer but not in Matter-Bridge.
In Alexa Routine you can only change the temperature but not Heat/Off.
My Better thermostat are always on 22°C and we say Alexa thermostat xxx On/Off.

When looking at the device in the Alexa app, do you have a "mode" selection dropdown in there?

Same here, thats why i created Switch Helpers for every Thermostat. Each Helper fires an automation OFF -> 16°C and ON -> 22°C

You can only control temperature by voice. My thermostats are in HEATING Mode all the time, just controlled by setpoint Temperature.

It is much more convinient to say "Heizung Wohnzimmer AN" and "Heizung Wohnzimmer AUS"! :-)

I dont think its a problem that can be solved by the Matter-Hub. I think its caused by incompatibility of Alexa to Matter...
About 6 Months ago, Alexa did trigger ON and OFF for my thermostats... until some Amazon update came in.

Same here.

I am Using the better Thermostat Plugin and use them on the Bridge.

On the Alexa App I can turn them on and off. But Not With the Voice command.

On Apple Siri it works Fine.

Why it is Not possible by Voice command ? With my old Alexa skill it works Fine too.
