  • WDD Version: 5.3.1
  • OS Version: Windows 11 Insider 22631.2271

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Hibernate the PC for some hours
  2. Come back, WDD will be running but wallpaper won't be updated until upon the next one.
(Assuming the bug persists across different systems)

Consequence: using the pc during the day, hibernating it and waking it at night will cause the day wallpaper to show.

I'm not using the Microsoft Store version.

@TheShark27 How long does it take for wallpaper to update after your computer wakes from hibernate? The Windows system event for system resume doesn't always trigger. To handle this case, WinDD has a background timer that runs every minute to check if the wallpaper needs to be updated. So a slight delay may be expected, but if the delay for wallpaper to update takes longer than a minute, then this is a bug in WinDD.
