FYI: as you might be aware Liip is building a RAD Edition. We aim to provide a default setup that will include testing and code analytics, CS etc. so we might use your work as inspiration. furthermore our concept is to provide multiple feature branches with additional things that we do not think should be included in the default setup. so even the things in this repo we do not consider to be must haves in the default setup, we might add this way. we will hopefully soonish release some rough example. would love to then collaborate!

@lsmith77 Yeah. As you can see the edition is still hanging around 2.1.7, since I currently do not have the time to really invest into upgrading the edition to the latest symfony versions (2.1.x, 2.2.x 2.3.x). I was actually already thinking of disposing it, since some packages (i.e. phpcpd or phploc) now actually have composer packages, so the pear repositories are actually not needed.

Other things would be supporting phing builds in addition to ant, implementing sane defaults for standard metrics and probably some more.

But I'd happily collaborate, since imo instead of having 30 different variations of the same thing, building one great tool with a lot of expertise would be the way to go.

Keen to see your approach to the RAD edition, keep me updated about it!

Kind regards
Thomas
