Article features do not account for HTML formatting

While article formatting can be supplemented with HTML for formatting capabilities that Markdown might not offer, it is not as well supported by the website as Markdown itself. As a result, following oddities occur:

• HTML <code> blocks do create code block like Markdown formatting does. As a result, the code is not on a differently colored background or offset different from unformatted text.
• The Time to Read feature includes HTML formatting, rather than the length of readable text.
