While article formatting can be supplemented with HTML for formatting capabilities that Markdown might not offer, it is not as well supported by the website as Markdown itself. As a result, following oddities occur:
- HTML
<code> blocks do create code block like Markdown formatting does. As a result, the code is not on a differently colored background or offset different from unformatted text.
- The Time to Read feature includes HTML formatting, rather than the length of readable text.
