Support for more languages would be nice :))

Hello :)
I can certainly work on adding multilingual support for the UI in the future!

The app should still work fine when using the options (proofreading, summarising...) with text from any language, as the LLM is prompted to respond in the original language (and most modern decently sized LLMs support a multitude of languages).

I’d love to know your experience with how it performs in another language (ideally with the Gemini 1.5 Pro model which you can switch to in settings).

No worries, never mind my request, thanks anyway.
PS: If you need any help using/setting up Writing Tools, I’d be glad to help :)

I would be happy to provide Indonesian translations for the UI :D

I would be happy to translate into Hebrew.
Maybe you could upload the strings to a public translation site [like crowdin.com]?

Thanks so much, everyone :D

@momokrono has kindly offered to try creating the localization architecture (the plan's here).

An LLM should be able to provide preliminary translations (we'll see how that goes), and it'd be great if you all could verify/change them as you see fit once it's ready.

We'll get back to you all :)

Localization is now merged into main, I will write a guide in the following days on how to contribute so stay tuned and thank you in advance!

Closing.
