On edit rectangle is converted to free polygon

While editing rectangle polygon it's converted to free polygon. How can I edit the shape in rectangle mode only as I'm using this https://github.com/iamanvesh/mapbox-gl-draw-circle/blob/master/lib/modes/DragCircleMode.js
when I edit this it stays in circle drawing shape.

I've had the same issue. Maybe not ideal, but I've adapted https://github.com/mapbox/mapbox-gl-draw/blob/main/src/modes/direct_select.js to make this work.

Below these lines

I've added the following
