- Added new setting CACHING_ACTIVE. For a few users of the widget, sometimes the message "Script not found" appeared. This was due to the caching of the logos and insufficient memory on the users' devices. If you get this error, set the new setting CACHING_ACTIVE from true to false.
- Added new setting SHOW_STATS_DESCRIPTION. A user on reddit pointed out to me that people who know hockey know that the statistic 9-5-4 means that the team has 9 wins, 5 losses and 4 losses after overtime. So the descriptions "W-L-OTL" are superfluous. If you think so too, you can now set the SHOW_STATS_DESCRIPTION setting from true to false, then the "W-L-OTL" descriptions will disappear and you will only see the numbers.
- Added new setting SHOW_HOME_TEAM_FIRST. As u/TwentyFour7 on reddit explained to me that in the US the syntax for a game always is "away team @ home team" I introduced this setting. As I live in Europe, where the home team always is mentioned first, the setting is default to the european way, so you have to set it to false if you want the US layout.
- Fixed display of time in small widget. Widget won't crash if something goes wrong.
- Date is now displayed with two digits.
- Fixed a bug where the widget would crash if no venue was supplied. Now, if no venue is supplied, none is displayed.
- Fixed a bug, when goals from the shootout were not counted. So the widget showed a tied game.
- Added current division and league standings to widget
- Implemented 2x2 widget, which only shows the next opponent with W-L-OTL stats, standings and top scorer and the W-L-OTL stats, standings and top scorer of your team
- If the livescore feature (came with v2) is activated, the top row shows current period and time remaining
- Added a setting to the top of the script to hide als stats and scores for those who don't want to be spoilered through widget. Currently stats and livescores are enabled, see the FAQs to find out how to disable them.
- When accidentally a large size widget is added to the homescreen the user will be prompted that only small and medium sized widgets are supported.
- I noticed that the update of W-L-OTL stats takes a long time, so I changed the API endpoint where this data is fetched.
- Updated the logo of Buffalo Sabres.
- Updated livescore: When game has not started yet, it displays "-" instead of "0"
- Added livescores. Livescores are enabled by default. See FAQs to disable them. "Live" depends on how often the widget on the homescreen updates itself. It is not possible to say exactly, when it updates.
- Added link to NHL app when clicking the widget. To disable it please check the FAQs.
- Games in european timezones start after midnight. To have the next game displayed properly, we have to calculate back the beginning (-6 hours)
