Items on the right pane vanish when Settings visible

On my Mac, when I click the hamburger menu in the top left, items on the right pane vanish and won't show until the Settings pane is closed.

After opening Settings:

After widening the window and the right pane, things are still gone:

And once I close the Settings pane, they come back:

So this isn't about the width of the right pane in the window. Once Settings is open, items (like the Publish button) are pushed out of view and won't show until Settings is closed.

Someone working with me on Discord has reported this is the same on Linux.
