There are two possible hashing strategies (-refalphahash a.k.a refalpha1hash and -refalpha2hash).

There are no descriptions or comments of their properties and why you possibly would want to use one over the other. If there are no particular (really big) advantages we should simplify to only use one.

In processROption() there are indications that they both also relate to the number of reference files choosen (-refnum option).
