Database is listing incorrect spp # #94

Differing species numbers:

The statistics page is saying 6569 species
Downloading the full taxonomy CSV gives 6369 entries
But the J Mamm article (and v1.0 taxonomy) has 6495 species + 56 synonyms == 6551 species

So we need to resolve where this issue lies. Thanks!!
