Will there be a new release soon?

Hi there, I was just wondering if there will be a new release soon? it looks like there has been quite a few fixes and improvements since the last one (v2.0.7 in April 2023).

Sorry for the late reply. For faster releases of new client-go versions, the tidb-version release branches could be referenced. These release branches are used for corresponding TiDB version releases and integration release tests have been done.

Thank you. Can I confirm whether the 7.5 client would be compatible with a 7.1.2 version of TiKV?

Typically, lower-version clients can work with higher-version TiKV. However, higher-version clients are not always compatible with lower-version TiKV.
