Is this project still maintained?

Hello everyone, I am following the process described in the HOWTO Guide: Unmaintained Crate Advisories to mark this project as unmaintained.

I started this thread to ask the entire community: Is this project still being maintained? Are you still attempting to maintain it?

I'm happy to close it if someone shows up and says they will maintain it. Otherwise, I will initiate a PR to mark this project as unmaintained and encourage the community to use the prometheus-client instead.

I have been doing some very light maintenance of the prometheus crate in the past months, but to be honest recently I'm not having enough time anymore to properly take care of this alone.
In theory there are several other maintainers here, but judging from the lack of replies I think they are in a similar situation or have moved to other areas of interest over time.

Now that an official community library exists, I think it makes sense to encourage consumers to migrate to https://github.com/prometheus/client_rust whenever they can. Though a RustSec advisory for this maybe is a bit too aggressive?

That said, please note that I'm just speaking as a single maintainer and I'm not the repository or crate owner. I don't have full control over here.
I'd leave any final decisions to the actual owners, which are part of the the parent @tikv organization: @siddontang, @breezewish, and @overvenus.
