Brainrot3d is an independent, on-device client. It has no backend of its own.
- Your login session (an Instagram bearer token and related device identifiers) is stored only on your device, in the app's local storage, so you don't have to log in every time. It is never sent anywhere except to Instagram's own servers, as part of normal API calls you initiate.
- The app does not contain any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- The app communicates directly with Instagram's servers (
i.instagram.comand Instagram's media CDNs) to log in, load your feed, and perform actions you take (like, comment, share). - An optional "Algorithm signals" switch, off by default, controls whether a normal "watched this reel" signal is reported to Instagram. With it off, nothing is reported.
- Nothing. There is no server operated by this project. The developer does not receive your credentials, your activity, or any usage data.
- Log out in the app, or delete the app, to remove the stored session from your device.
