Hi,

I recently switched to an unrooted Android phone and was pleased to discover non-root versions of apps for modifying audio output. However, I’ve been unable to find a substitute for ViPER4Android’s Spectrum extension feature, which recovers high frequencies lost due to audio compression. As a frequent user of streaming services like YouTube Music and Spotify, I’ve noticed how compressed the high-frequency parts of the music are, and it’s starting to bother me.

Can you please consider adding a similar Spectrum extension feature to RootlessJamesDSP?
Thanks for reading!

Spectrum extension definition from ViPER4Android
Makes your music sound lossless with enhanced high frequencies.
It calculates what of the frequency spectrum is lost and is useful if you play lossy audio files
If turned on, the audio spectrum will be reconstructed to recover high frequencies (16k~22kHz), just like Sony DSEE.

I second this, but it's not on my must haves list
