Not working with Heroku?

There have been reports of pg8000 not working with Heroku. Ideally we'd like a standalone code example of a problem with pg8000. Also, it might be difficult to work out if the problem lies with Heroku or pg8000, so it's probably a good idea to raise any bugs with Heroku themselves.
