Streaming help - bad quality

I was having problems with the quality of the streaming and I opened an issue but you closed it saying it wasn't appropriate?! Am I mistaken that you created the streaming feature for this? Or does the original repo also have streaming capabilities? I don't see any endpoints for streaming in the original repo so I don't know why you're saying it's not appropriate for users to seek help from the original developer of a new feature.

@petermg Peter — you submitted 140 lines of your own Python code as the showcase for the streaming issue.

The pragmatic approach to this would be to use an existing, known-working setup for streaming (an application that handles streaming properly and also is amenable to this API somehow) so that the issue can be narrowed down to the streaming implementation for this project versus the unknown factors of what your Python script might yield.

I'd be happy to fix streaming issues with the API.

But I need a more solid foundation by which to evaluate its streaming functionality.

This project is not a fork... it's an API wrapper.

I did try this example you have:

But it didn't work. I don't remember all the details but the frequency is set to 22050, which is not right. It should be 24000. And the format is wrong. It is pyaudio.paInt16 but should be pyaudio.Float32. Seems like an LLM generated example script. Did you test it? Are you telling me that script on your "project" worked? I don't think you tested it. Because it doesn't work and you're being super stiff about helping me figure out issues with it. So I worked with ChatGPT to come up with a script that did work. I just can't get the pops out from between the chunks. It claims it's because there is a gap between them but it sounds exactly like the RIFF header at the beginning of the first chunk so I don't think that's the reason. I know you said you mostly made this with the help of LLMs

so maybe this is intimidating to you. It seems you are offended that I am asking for help and even sharing my scripts, which were also generated using LLM, with you. If this is the case, you know you can just remove the entire "Issues" and even "Discussions" sections. It's ok to just say you don't know and don't have the time or the willingness to figure it out.
