Dear colleague,
Applications to the next cohort of the NHS Fellowship in Clinical AI are open!
Apply here: https://gstt-csc.github.io/fellowship_cohort4.html
About the Programme
The NHS Fellowship in Clinical AI is the only educational fellowship of its kind. We equip healthcare leaders with the knowledge and skills to safely adopt AI in clinical practice. Fellows work on real-world AI project placements to gain hands-on experience, in a part-time role alongside their existing employment/training. Fellows also attend bespoke interactive workshops delivered by national and international experts, starting with an intensive residential bootcamp in London.
This unique programme is featured as an exemplar in upskilling clinicians for AI transformation in both the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and the NHS Transformation Directorate report, Developing Healthcare Workers’ Confidence in AI. We are proud to be supported by the NHS Digital Academy.
What’s new for Cohort 4?
Expanded Regional Coverage: More NHSE geographical regions are now eligible, enriching our network with further AI centres of excellence.
Expanded Workforce Coverage: More workforce groups are now eligible, emphasising that AI is a multidisciplinary responsibility.
