When an email is sent automatically from a workflow, the message is delivered to the recipient(s) but no copy is stored in the account’s “Sent” folder. This makes it difficult for users to track outbound communications that originated from automated workflows, audit activity, or reference the exact content that was sent later on.
Expected behavior
Emails dispatched via workflows should be automatically saved to the user’s “Sent” mailbox, just like manually composed messages. This would allow to track them in the "email" section of the People record.
