Some of us across Sydney and Melbourne had a discussion on the future of the tech stack. Based on the students performance and feedback we have found that:
React (by extension jsx as well) is more difficult grasp than we thought
A lot of copy-and-pasting, instead of practicing TDD
Missing components. Students spent a few weeks trying to implement new components
Students prefer MVC pattern over components
What do we think and how should we alleviate some of these problems going forward?
