Description
When the preview panel is open or the cursor in the editor panel is active, GPU consumption is high even when nothing is being typed. It seems like the app forces content updates (because FPS is high), even though nothing is actually being updated.
High FPS and GPU consumption when cursor is active:
Low FPS and GPU consumption when cursor is inactive:
High FPS and GPU consumption when preview is open:
This seems to be Firefox specific (at least on chromium GPU usage is always low), so maybe something is wrong on the browser's side.
Maybe related to #622 and #658.
