The South German Credit dataset was donated by me as a fix of the well-known Statlog German Credit dataset. It is available under two different DOIs in basically the same version: 10.24432/C5X89F holds the original submission, 10.24432/C5QG88 an update, which was, however, apparently also incorporated into the original submission. In both cases, my wish to also refer to the technical report that describes how the dataset relates to other published versions of these data (Grömping, U. (2019). South German Credit Data: Correcting a Widely Used Data Set. Report 4/2019, Reports in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Department II, Berliner Hochschule für Technik.) was ignored.
I think that there is no point in keeping two versions of the dataset, and it would be great if the report could be referenced because it is helpful for understanding the data. (It would also be useful to reference the report with the faulty Statlog German Credit data at 10.24432/C5NC77.)
Best regards,
Ulrike Grömping
