Mute audio setting

I guess the title is the whole feature request... I personally like the idea of having a mute setting to turn off incoming audio when I'm doing more mundane farming or grinding in some games, and watching a video or listening to music while doing so.

(I'm aware that there are utilities out there that give you per-application volume sliders)
