Does Bruno Updater delete old folder contents?

Yesterday, I was working with Bruno (Windows, installed version) on a collection I had imported from Postman.
This morning I wanted to continue, opened Bruno and there were no collections anymore!
Searching all my drives for *.bru didn't yield any results, so it looks as if all my work is lost. :(

I cannot be 100% sure, but I think I had imported that collection into a subfolder of %APPDATA%\bruno, probably "collections", fwiw.
The log shows that yesterday around noon, the auto update to 2.9.0 was executed and the next time Bruno was started was today, so my guess is that auto-update deleted my collections because they were in the folder that got updated.

Can anyone confirm or refute this?
