To maintain transparency, each non pre-release of Subsearch includes a VirusTotal analysis of the compiled code.
False positives have been identified in the past, such as
Trojan.PSW.Python.iv
,Trojan.Stealer.Win32.29558
,Trojan.Win32.Save.a
, andTrojan.Generic.hhkmb
. While efforts have been made to remove these false positives, they may still be present due to the lack of a code signature. If you are unsure whether these are false positives, you can review the source code on Github. If you wish to compile the code yourself, refer to the setup.py, pyproject.toml, and release.yml files in the Subsearch repository.
For more information, refer to the README - Source section of the Subsearch Github repository and the official cx_Freeze documentation.
