I'm not sure I would have noticed that there was a https://docs.val.town/reference/custom-domains/ option because it's not with the other HTTP Val documentation. Instead, it's in the reference section.

I think this would be a good change, yes. Nobody is currently working on it - you're welcome to. If you do, be sure to add the appropriate entries to https://github.com/val-town/val-town-docs/blob/main/public/_redirects
