@valinet Helped a friend out who was having this same issue and it occurred to me that it would probably be a good idea to have ExplorerPatcher check this registry key before restarting explorer. |

For the longest time, I couldn't figure out why the weather widget from ExplorerPatcher didn't show for me. None of the issues or discussions were of any help.
However, I suppose ExplorerPatcher injects its weather widget into the People bar, because once I set
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
->HidePeopleBar
to 0 (or removing it), the weather widget began working for me.Hopefully this helps someone else out.
