For those of you that are wondering "When will this library get to version 1.0.0? Will it ever get there?", I share the same sentiment 😅 🤣
I have a full-time job and am also a father of 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat. That means that I am progressing through the Project Roadmap at a snail's pace. So, I thought about ways I can speed up the process of releasing the holy grail of all releases. The version 1.0.0 release 🤔
❓Why is releasing version
1.0.0
important? What's wrong with versions below it (e.g. 0.2.4, 0.3.0, etc)? Nothing at all!
The difference lies in perception, accountability, and trust. In my opinion, v1.x.x is perceived to be more solid, stable, and trustworthy than v0.x.x. Also, maintainers probably feel more accountable for issues with "production-grade" 1.x.x versions than pseudo "pre-release" 0.x.x versions.
I could be wrong in this assumption... but I think more people will adopt this library when it gets to version 1.x.x.

💡How will we get to v1 quicker?
I have thought about it and in retrospect I realized that I was trying to pack too many things into v1. There is no reason for some of these to be in v1. Actually, a lot of them are probably more appropriate for post-v1 releases. If I work on all of the things currently in the v1 roadmap, then v1 will probably be the final version instead of the "initial" version 😆 🤦
So, the answer I came up with is to move some stuff from v1 to post-v1. More specifically, the following (renamed)...
I also decided to delete unnecessary stuff that contained no real issues and are covered as part of general project maintenance...
