Using the standard AOSP keyboard (Cyanogen OS 13) to type words with gesture typing (swype type gestures) fails to transmit the full word to the computer (tested using gedit, Ubuntu 14.04). Writing a word in that way and then adding a space only sends the first letter of the word.
This means that one must type each letter on the KDE Connect keyboard.
