LinuxGSM allows alerts to be received using various methods, more info, multiple alerts can be enable at same time:
Alerts settings can be changed in /path/to/LGSM-Config/common.cfg, if you need examples checks /path/to/LGSM-Config/_default.cfg, more info oficial LinuxGSM Alerts _default.cfg file
You will recieve alerts only if the server crashes or updates itself.
