Docker volume (location related)

Hello again,
I have three docker volume questions for you related to where the volumes are stored:

1. Is there a reason that your docker compose configuration uses a user chosen volume location?
2. Based on (1) is it possible to use the default docker volume location? Would the docker create volume command be applicable or would it have to be a combination of that command AND manually creating dirs...assuming we also need to make LinuxGSM happy.
3. Based on (2), if we can use the docker volume dir (/var/lib/docker/volume) is it possible to move my existing 7dtd volume which lives in /opt/ currently.

Hi,

1º No, there is no reason, you can place the volumes where you want at your host.
2º It's possible to use volume location, but I haven't tested, and you wouldn't need to manually create directories all its handle by the scripts.
3º If I'm not mistaken, you can use docker cp to copy inside the volume, i think with a quick research at Google you will be able to do it, because i have done that in the past but i don't remember how right now.
