Server update for new stable version

Hi,
How do I update to the new stable version of 7D2D?
Also can I drop any mods into the mod folder?

I saw your update instructions and followed them but ended up with the same error that there is a game version mismatch.
I have the latest 21.1B16 installed on my gaming pc but the server is running 21 b11# (I cannot remember the exact version number but its the previous version to 21.1B16.

Ok, I took a poke around since it was already not working, After backing up the config xml files, I deleted all the contents of the ServerFiles folder restarted the server which re-downloaded the game files. I then stopped the container again and restored the xml files then started the container again.
I am now able to play again. I lost no levels or player stats.
I checked the backups but they were corrupt and not usable.
You may need to look into that. I couldn't even tar extract the files, it said they were corrupt.
