• I have checked if my issue has already been reported, and I am certain that my problem has not already been addressed.

What problem did you encounter?

first my shiftlock and chat bugged. i couldnt lock my shift and my CTRL + A, backspace, etc stopped working. new to linux, so i just spammed random uninstall commands from anything i could targetted onto vinegarhq.org/sober.
then i reinstalled it, strangely enough, only 2.2mb were to install.
then my CAMERA wouldnt work (it was like on ice, my cursor would go to where my camera was supposed to when released m2.)

what i think is wrong: the apk files are disgustingly glitchy.
what i think i should do but have no idea how to: i need to remove the current apk files and replace them, BUT HOW DO I REMOVE THEM?? HOW DO I ENTER THE "upload your .apk files here!" SCREEN??? HOW?? HELP ME PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!!! (linux mint cinammon)

short: shiftlock camera chat bugged as HELL, i cant fix myself and nothing and no one has had the same exact issue. PLEASE HELPPPP MEEE!!! HEEELLLLPPPPP MEEEE!!!!!! (games i tried: gpo, jjs, tsbg, and literally any other roblox game is broken.)

edit: it turns out my entire friggin system is ducked. shift and ctrl don't work in ANY game, not just sober. literally any game i try doesnt accept shift and ctrl on key bindings and as key bindings.

found a solve to this: restart your system, and on the log in screen where u put Ur password n things, click the round logo above the password, and choose standard... it just set itself on Linux on Wayland somehow, just switch to atandard!!

the apk shouldn't affect your gameplay since it checks if it's the right one anyways

From what ive experienced manually uploading an APK is unstable compared to doing it automatic.

the first time i opened sober i did a manual installation and everything worked well, its the time i used automatic one it got glitched. the automatic one broke my game

do the automatic one because that is much more stable

It's literally the same apk, I don't see how putting it in sober manually will make it less stable

However if you want to clean reinstall sober to see if it will fix anything you can run flatpak uninstall --delete-data org.vinegarhq.Sober -y

yeah no, it DID bring me back to the version installation screen, i did a manual one this time, and I matched THE EXACT version it wanted,though there was a newer one.
issue is not fixed, shiftlock and chat still bugged but camera is back to normal though... any idea how to fix this?? also i deleted sober yesterday,downloaded it back today and it was an entire window of installations and not 2.2mb like before
after i ran the command you told me to, it installed 2.2 mb only again.. i am gonna try to install the newest but unrecommended version now

no it only wants THIS one SPECIFIC version. does NOT let me install older or newer, its SPECIFICALLY 2.655.10xx

whichever apk you install won't affect the gameplay, it's likely just an issue with how your install is configured

the issue was that i somehow clicked the round logo and chose wayland. probably when my wallpapers on login screen didnt work (still don't,help with that maybe?)
