Acknowledgement of checking existent issues

  • I have checked if my issue has already been reported, and I am certain that my problem has not already been addressed.

What problem did you encounter?

Roblox installation is required, starting onboarding flow UI...
Trying to reach update service to update Roblox...
Couldn't install Roblox using update service, retrying...
Couldn't install Roblox using update service, falling back to manual install.

I have made an attempt to find application bundle but I couldn't get it to work:

  • ERROR: install_bundle: The provided bundle contains an unsupported app version.
  • ERROR: install_bundle: The provided bundle is incomplete.

Was installed on another OS[Ubuntu 24.04.1] (worked with no issues that I knew of), I switch to a different OS[same as before] (fresh install, I swapped my SSD), and the results are what I listed above

flatpak version: Flatpak 1.14.6
sober version (as per what flatpak list says): 0.0.0-95bc81d

to replicate I feel that only a fresh install of flatpak is needed

I'm not sure what else to do besides continue searching for for the right version of the bundle or wait for an update

I feel like there is similarity to #618, but when I try to update there are no updates available.
I have also noted a few comments within #597, but when I searched for the bundle on the site mentioned I never located it.

Sober isn't updated

this was intentional

one of the sober devs disabled automatic downloads over in the gh-pages branch possibly for an upcoming release sometime within the next two weeks

update: (citing myself from 626)

apparently according to a Sober dev, the real reason why Sober stopped auto downloads was because Google Play changed something to their backend where it downloads the ARM64 split instead of the x86_64 one, which is not compatible with Sober (obvs)
