XML generation tools re-writing .xml file

I am not sure where it is happening, maybe xmledit is doing it but my .xml file is getting re-written in a workflow where I am updating operator plugins.

And, it is replacing constants close to zero with zero such as...

I am having to go back and manually fix the xml file.

Anyone have any idea what might be happening?

I agree it is probably xmledit, possibly a precision/format issue with it when writing to the xml file.
