Lila Chase reported to me that VisIt is too large for her screen (running on jade). She is running VNC at 1920x1080, so there should be no problem. I went to her office and VisIt is massive. Many windows extend off the screen. And sometimes the viewer comes up halfway above the top of the screen, making it hard to get any of the controls at the top.

I have no clue what the issue could be. Maybe some kind of accessibility setting or scaling issue on VNC? I can't reproduce myself. It would be nice to know the cause and also it would be nice to have scroll bars in all the windows.
