Bring Back the Showcase

I really liked the showcase from the old website and I think that we should bring it to the open-source community version of the site.

I am willing to work on this issue since it feels like it could build off of issue #8 as just a new page. What are your thoughts?

Hi @jrtechs,

at the moment we have https://github.com/visjs/awesome-visjs. But as I look at it there's no link to it anywhere except for the repo being pinned at our community on GitHub which is as good as invisible I guess. Not mentioning the fact that the Markdown is not very elegant. However I would prefer if the showcase stayed in https://github.com/visjs/awesome-visjs.

It would be great if you could work on this. My idea (feel free to suggest changes if this diverges from yours):

• Awesome vis.js:
  • Create a decent design for the showcase.
  • Create and document some way of adding new projects (preferably clean, simple, without inlined styles etc.)
• www.visjs.org
  • Add a link to the main page.

@Thomaash sounds good! Based on the discussion in #8, that redesign would make linking the awesome-visjs easier to do. I'll poke around the awesome-visjs repository to see what I can do to make adding showcase examples easier.
