How I should use V UI?

How should I use V UI? There's no documentation! I understood nothing.

One way is to run and read the examples code. If you already did v install ui you can for instance do:

$ v run .vmodules/ui/examples/calculator.v

https://github.com/vlang/ui/blob/master/examples/calculator.v

For gg there are lot of examples:

$ v run v/examples/gg/mandelbrot.v

https://github.com/vlang/v/blob/master/examples/gg/mandelbrot.v

Also the related tests are very informative.

There are many examples in the VUi package, and the repo code is surprisingly easy to comprehend. If you have used other layout based frameworks, you should get the basics quickly. The Discord group has and is helpful and supportive. Finally, VUi's Readme indicates the code is pre-alpha, meaning you are going to have to do some leg work. IMHO, it is worth it. The framework shows great promise, and V is a blast to write.

there aren't docs for specificate how it works, I've tryed search them since I don't know what components it support and what don't if it support fragments or no. But I didn't found anything related.

Try this:

• cd ~/.vmodules/ui
• v doc .

Expect a lot of output. Run v doc -h to see other options, such as getting the output in HTML or Markdown.

In other words, right now, the source is the only docs there are for the UI module. The only examples of using it are the files in the examples subdir.

Agree. Once a person understands the style, it becomes an easy way to code UIs. Definitely the correct direction.
