The struct keyword is redundant to declare anonymous structures

Maybe the struct keyword is redundant, as the { symbol already suggests an anonymous structure. For example, without the struct keyword we could write code in a more concise way:

struct Person {
	name string
	location {
		country string
		city string
	}
}

fn config(options ?{ lang string theme string }) {
 	// ...
}

fn main() {
	p := Person{
		name: 'John Smith',
		location: {
			country: 'US',
			city: 'New York'
		}
	}
	println(p)
}

A { by itself implies a new block, not a struct. The struct keyword is needed to help the parser figure out that you're trying to create an anonymous struct rather than just a new code block.

Thanks for the clarification. I really like the struct keyword :) And it would be nice to be able to create anonymous structures on the fly using it:

book := struct {
	title: 'Allice in Wornderland'
	isbn: '1503222683',
	year: 1865
}

To wrap this up, the example is now possible since #23857 was merged.

The only thing you get now is a warning about the unused variable...
