Does it work with gmail ?

I have a little question: Does it work with gmail account ? I use Google g-suite for my business.

I saw in this issue
That we cannot create imap connection with gmail account! ($bmh->service = 'imap';)
But is there another connection that works with gmail address ?

With pop3, doest it work ?
