I tried with other datasets, it works with different hyperparameters for each of them.

Any tips on which hyperparameters to tweak and on which range? Also, is 1000000 iterations really required for good results?

Nah 1000000 was just a random number. I haven't zeroed in on good hyperparameters, it's been a while since I worked on this.
