Blender OSM fails to download Google data

I reveive this erro message at the system console:

There was an error when processing the URI

Oh snap, i was about to open this exact same issue too lol

I am having the same issue ... same error message ...
No json files are being downloaded into the cache folder after clicking import.
Please help!!!!
