I have switched from the default "automount" to nfs_automount because I used to experience some hangs related to my NFS server shutting down (when inactive).
But I still experience these hangs: when the server shuts down, the shares are correctly unmounted, but then my whole system is frozen (I use Linux Mint 16 under MATE but I have also tried Cinnamon) until I start my NFS server again manually. Killing the X server does not help, I have to reboot my client computer in order to get rid of these hangs.
Any idea?
Thanks
