I disagree with this statement below. ToIP architecture assumes seem to assume certain technology choices: for example, term "agent" is very specific and assuming that identifiers are DIDs does not match the reality of a lot of deployments. Please remove to best understand part, and if there is an appetite, or need to keep ToIP reference, please move it to annex.

To best understand the decentralized model and its end-to-end operation, we can refer to the model by the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF) [did-faq] build on the Trust Over IP architecture [introduction-toip] [evolution-toip].

Dear @Sakurann thank you for your opinion :)

The described architecture is already a blend of ToIP and DIF and is opinionated but useful to put all the "standards/blocks" in place, having a broader overview.

Do you have a reference to an alternative documentation of this architecture? It could be either more neutral or differently opinionated. If so, we could consider including it as an alternative reading option to provide a broader perspective
