Hardware Security
The review of the Hardware Security WG by W3C members has raised some interesting questions related to the scope and the priority on the use cases handled by that working group proposal. The team, composed of David Rogers, Virginie Galindo, Rigo Wenning and Wendy Seltzer decided to open a Community Group in order to address that request for improvement. In order to progress in an efficient way, the team would like to invite companies and individuals to meet during two days in London on the 26-27th of April 2016.
Objective of the meeting : the meeting will target 3 objectives : (1) identify high priorities use cases for the Hardware Security Working Group, (2) refine the group charter accordingly and (3) draft first API to manage corresponding use cases.
**Attendees **: due to the number of seats limited to 40, attendees will be selected on the basis of their interest and potential contribution to meeting objectives. In addition the team will make sure all stakeholders of the industry are represented, including browser makers, device makers, security and privacy experts, service providers using hardware technology. Request for attendance should be sent to Virginie Galindo [email protected] and David Rogers [email protected]. Confirmation of attendance will be sent 2 weeks prior to the meeting.
Location of the meeting : Meeting will be held in Morrison & Foerster (UK) LLP CityPoint | One Ropemaker St | London EC2Y 9AW
Food : Lunch will be kindly sponsored by Morrison & Foerster during the 2 days meeting.
